The MITR Project is a groundbreaking initiative by Avtar Human Capital Trust (AHCT) dedicated to educating and transforming adolescent boys into informed, empathetic and responsible young men. Our mission is to create a generation of allies who understand, respect and support their female counterparts, fostering a more equitable and just society.

With a presence across 13 locations, we have impacted over 27,000 of beneficiaries, partnered with hundreds of institutions to provide scholarships and fuel dreams of deserving individuals. Our journey is a testament to the power of consistent vision, purposeful action, and unwavering belief and we’re only getting started.

MITR Curriculum

The MITR program specifically targets boys in classes 9 to 12, providing them with
age-appropriate information through structured educational modules.

Interpersonal Skills

Developing self-awareness, self-esteem, and emotional intelligence.

Intrapersonal Skills

Enhancing communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution
abilities.

Self-Management Skills

Teaching stress management, healthy habits, and personal
responsibility

Gender Sensitivity

Fostering an understanding of gender equality and the importance
of respecting women’s rights.

Allyship Clubs

Allyship clubs at school levels will build the community where allyship can be discussed and expressed in ways that will help shape the future gender champions.
