Puthri Scholarship

The Puthri Scholarship Program is designed to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder the educational aspirations of young girls. By offering scholarships, we aim to empower these scholars to pursue higher education and secure mainstream jobs, ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty.

Career pathing. For over 16 years, Avtar Human Capital Trust (AHCT) has transformed aspirations to achievements through its flagship initiatives. With a presence across 13 locations, we have impacted over 27,000 beneficiaries, partnered with hundreds of institutions to provide scholarships and fuel dreams of deserving individuals. Our journey is a testament to the power of consistent vision, purposeful action, and unwavering belief — and we’re only getting started.

How can you support

From school selection to college success a step-by-step journey of support, guidance, and empowerment through the Puthri Scholarship.

Selection during Career Counselling

Eligible girls are identified for the scholarship during in school career counselling sessions conducted by Puthri representatives.

Data Verification

Shortlisted students receive a verification call to confirm details and
ensure eligibility.

Donor Mapping

Every scholar is matched with a donor through our campaign and identification process.

College Enrollment Support

We guide and assist selected scholars with the college admission
process and formalities.

Academic Tracking

Scholars’ performance is tracked regularly to ensure progress and provide timely academic support.

Continued Mentorship

The journey doesn’t end with selection Puthri mentors continue guiding scholars through challenges in academics and life.
